In June of 1988, Ann sent us to the Healey Bros. dispersion with a single
imperative: get lot 528 (FL Daring Lady 528). This, we accomplished. We
even brought back her mother, FL Annie Oakley 405. Although she will say
otherwise, Ann selected many of the most influencial cows in the development
of this herd, and 528 is no exception. Her most recent EPDs are:
This thick, growthy son by 439T is doing a fantastic job. He is highly fertile, remarkably easy keeping, and his calves have the same thickness and muscle expression that make us stop in the driveway sometimes just to look at him. Visitors, after walking through the bull pastures, have singled him out more than any other.
