General is currently ranked number 5 among all active Hereford sires for the multiple trait index.  He had only 11 calves born in 1999 and 2000, yet 5 of them (from 5 different herds, no less) made the top 200 list this year for that same index.  This included our heifer, CHR Val K011, that was number 7 overall.

General started life at only 65 lbs. and went on to out perform nearly all his contemporaries at Venhuizens' that year. He has extra length, volume, and pigment. His yearling data includes a 1220 lb. adjusted weight and 40 cm scrotal circumference. His dam has average ratios of 111.5 and 115.5 in the Venhuizen herd and is +27 for pure milk.
