We acquired 439T when we purchased the Plantation House herd in 1988. We had no idea just how much performance there was in him, but he has easily become the most influential bull on this ranch in all its 50 years. His typical pasture weight was 2700 pounds and he stood 63 inches tall, yet he maintained himself easily on grass alone.  This combination of performance, efficiency, and maternal power doesn't come along every day.  We have calved over 15 daughters and the average weaning ratio of all their calves is 105. He was heavily used here up to his death in 1993 and at one time the bulk of our cow herd was made up of 439T daughters. We owned him with his breeder, Glenkirk Farms, Mayesville, MO.
